So Many Squirrels & So Little Leash

Today was beautiful so we spent the day outside helping mom in her garden. While she was pulling weeds and cleaning up brush, we were dismantling her brush piles and flattening plants.  We take the job very seriously.

Sometimes too seriously.  Bailey got upset with me when I took off with her dirt clod & decided I needed my ear pulled.  Mom thought it was time for a sniff (walk) before we killed each other.  Sisters are like that sometimes.

So on our sniff we have to go past this huge yard with a gazillion oak trees.  We call it Squirrel Acres because on every square foot of the property there are like 30 squirrels crawling all over each other.  I kid you not!  They are every where.  I go on point..there, over there and there.  Ooo, look at that one!  Yet my leash doesn't reach so I do a little whine & sit.  Someday I hope to have my very own a Squirrel Acres so that l can make sure that all the squirrels stay up in the trees.

That is so good of you to help your mom with the gardening. The part I like best about yard work is digging the holes.

That Squirrel Acres place sounds wonderful! I would help you keep the squirrels in the trees where they belong.
