Dirty Dirty Day

It sure is great to feel the warmth of the sun on my ears. I laid around all morning in mom's raised bed watching birds eat grass seed. I might have dozed off occasionally but I always kept one eye open for any squirrels that may try to trespass. Not one of the little buggers tried anything. {{sigh}} roll over

It was a nice lazy morning until she came...

LuLu's in da' pen!
Neighbor dog, LuLu decides to shoot her skinny self through our fence and the next I know I'm involved in a high speed chase. Yipping wildly we cruise around the garden beds and through the garden paths. Who are we pursuing? Nobody seems to know, but for over an hour we do laps through the cold mud.

It was rough, wild and so dirty!! We were like those hounds we can only read about. It was exhilarating.

I got a little muddy. {{giggle}}

Haley was so taken in by the moment I caught her drinking out of a {{bluhck}} mud puddle.

We can't wait for spring so we can spend more time outdoors.

I love to run. I totally understand. You don't need a reason! And mud...well, humans get a little upset but I like splashing around.

Trespassing, how it dared. But I'm sure you ladys enjoyed every minute of giving it good backyard chase.

Post by Dinky Daisy...Hi Girls! It sounds like you had a wonderful day. We doggies here at Darling Dinky Dogs have also been running around the garden at our house. It's so much fun! We even got to sit in the Gazebo with Mom one day this week. It's been so long since we could do that. I got a bit muddy myself the other day, and Mom had to give me a bath. It took her an hour and a half to comb me out. She had a pile of hair as big as I was! So I guess I'd better stay away from the mud puddles for a while. Bark at ya later! Dinky Daisy

Mud spoils spring. Squishy.
