LuLu The Contortionist

The other day we had so much fun. Our pen is a layer of fences, much like Fort Knox, with heavy ties at the base so when we feel like digging we won't be able to squirt out to the other side. Mom took great pride in all the elaborate details making sure that we would be safe so imagine her surprise when she looked outside to see not two Beagles, but three!

We would like to introduce to you LuLu The Contortionist.

LuLu lives a few houses down and often visits us when she escapes the clutches of her own fenced area. Normally we share a few doggy yelps & kisses through the fence but on this day she decided to test Moms fence. To our amazement she was able to step onto a piece of pottery, which made her slightly higher than the first layer of fencing and then she was able to squeeze her skinny body through the slats of the wooden fence. It wasn't easy but there she was wiggling with us as we all had a good laugh about Moms "perfect" fence.

We chased each other around the yard, crashing in piles of leaves & we showed LuLu our favorite roll spots. Oh it was so fun but when Dad came home he wasn't to thrilled to be greeted by an additional dog. Our little friend was given a dog treat and sent home. However the next day LuLu came calling again & we were back to being the gleeful pack of Beagles.

Lulu really likes you two if she was willing to wiggle through the fence to get in with you. Sounds like you had a great time playing beagle games in the yard.

Your friend,
Niamh
